Systematic course evaluation is performed for each year of the curriculum by faculty peers, teaching faculty and students. This system permits problem identification, ensures timeliness of feedback, promotes discussion of new teaching methodologies, allows curriculum inventory, recommends changes in course offerings and provides better integration of the curriculum. These reviews are guided through the Preclinical Curriculum Committee and the Clinical Curriculum Committee.
The Office of Medical Student Education (OMSE) oversees the course evaluation system. The collected data are forwarded to the respective course masters, the Committee on Medical Education and the Academic Affairs Committee.
